セレクトショップTHIRTY THIRTYより出品いたします。フランスの陶芸家ロベール・ピコーによってデザイン、制作されたラージボウルです。1946年にフランスのヴァロリスにてRobert PicaultはRoger Capron、Jean Dervalらと共に制作工房を構えました。当時100人あまりの陶芸家が集まる地域として知られるヴァロリスには1949年～1955年の間ピカソも頻繁に訪れたマデューラ工房があり、彼らもピカソやジャン・コクトー、フェルナン・レジェらと親交を持ちました。その後50年代にヴァロリスにて独立したロベール・ピコーは簡単な幾何学模様や鳥、魚、花などをモチーフとして彼独自のスタイルを確立していきます。実用的な陶器の食器にどこか力の抜けた雰囲気のハンドペイントがプリミティブな印象の作品です。赤土を使用し、白い厚めの釉薬の上に手書きされています。そのため軽い仕上がりになっていますが、経年により釉薬のヒビや剥がれ、変色等見られる物があります。ヴィンテージの風合いとしてお楽しみください。※使用に伴う線傷がございます。※底部分のひび割れは制作工程で生まれた物で釉薬により埋まっています。
